How we work

Successful Rehabilitation
is a joint effort

Getting better is teamwork. I’ll guide, treat, and support — but your effort between sessions makes the real difference. Together, we’ll get you stronger, steadier, and pain-free.

You’ll find a list of common conditions I treat below, though it’s not exhaustive — please contact me if you have any questions about your specific issue.

Robert Wood

Owner & Clinical Director

Staying active and independent as we age is achievable with the right approach. Gentle exercise, mobility work, and balance training help maintain strength and confidence at home. Focus is also placed on falls prevention, reducing risk and helping you move safely and steadily every day.

Recovery after a stroke, spinal injury, Parkinson’s, or multiple sclerosis takes time — and the right support. I focus on rebuilding movement, balance, and confidence step by step. Progress may be gradual, but every improvement counts, and consistency makes the difference.

Whether it’s back pain, arthritis, or a long-term ache that won’t settle, I can help. Treatment may include acupuncture, electrotherapy, massage, and tailored exercise to reduce pain, improve movement, and build long-term self-management skills. The focus is always on restoring comfort and confidence in daily life.

After surgery, the right rehabilitation can make all the difference. I provide safe, structured recovery plans following joint replacements, fracture repairs, ligament reconstructions, and other orthopaedic surgeries. The aim is to rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence at a steady, sustainable pace.

Therapeutic massage can ease tension, reduce pain, and speed up recovery. Whether used as part of treatment or simply for relaxation, it supports better movement, circulation, and overall wellbeing.
